I grew up in New England and moved to Northern Virginia to complete my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. Since completing my degree I provide individual, group, and couples counseling to adults and adolescents with mental health and substance use disorders.
I support my clients with issues that include self-esteem, anxiety, depression, identity development, life transitions, and relationship issues. My educational, professional, and personal experiences contribute to my effectiveness in relieving these emotional, psychological, and relational issues.
I utilize a compassion-focused approach that focuses on integrating the pieces of your life that feel disconnected to achieve fulfillment. I believe the therapy experience is one that allows you the space to challenge yourself, thereby allowing you to discover new possibilities that lead to the long lasting changes you are looking for.
